The Colors of a Stranger

"You don't know what it's like to grow up not being able to see any color! Being able to only see in shades of grey!" She muttered in a harsh tone, her voice cracking.
"You're right. I don't know what it's like. But that doesn't mean you can't achieve your dreams." He said hesitantly.
"You don't understand!" She cried. "I was fine without being able to see color until I met you! You don't know how frustrating it is to..." She stopped herself from saying what was really bothering her. What she hasn't told anyone. The reason she hasn't told anyone? She was afraid of what it might mean for her if she finally accepted it and said it out loud.

Andrea is your typical teenager. She's sixteen and just got her drivers license. Boring black, shoulder length, frizzy hair. Hazel or very light brown eyes.
