Dear Reader, Let it be known that I am trying my best not to allow these events to occur. If you are still reading this in 2015, I have succeeded, and as a result, I no longer exist. Instead, I have entrusted the internet to show what had happened before I attempted to prevent the following events. This does not count as history, but as a lesson and a warning for all the impressionable youth that want to build a time machine. Yours Truly, Sir Mitchell A. Toren

A seemingly harmless adventure turns into the cause of millions of deaths; a boy with a horrible past could have an even worse future; and I, Sam Damen, am responsible for it all. The year was 3087 when the world's third time machine was built. This time it was going back in time and I was going with it. I arrive in 1347 and before I know it, my fears I couldn't even imagine, have come true. The Black Plague is beginning to spread and it's all my fault. Along my journey I meet someone, my heart is crushed when it seems the Black Death has plagued their life. If only many lives hadn't ended so soon because of me, if only fate had been in my favor, if only I could have prevented what lay ahead.
