"Hunters have lived for millions of years protecting humans from those beasts that you just encountered," he explained looking a little sad. "Oh so like a super hero," I asked. Where is this conversation even going? "Well kinda. We do sort of have powers. I wouldn't say we're superheroes," he scratched the back of his head looking up. "What do you mean we?" I said raising a brow. He looked at me straight in the eyes with no emotion. "We're hunters Zoey," he said as his eyes changed to a glowing yellow. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Zoey Carpenter was your average teenage girl. She moved to California from Tennessee with her mom and little brother after her fathers recent death. What she doesn't know is that her new town holds secrets. Dark secrets. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jacob Moore just another bad boy hunter with secrets of his own. He was a little different from the rest. He felt alone until a certain girl shows up in his life and changes everything.
