Dark Side of the World Book Two: You have met a Terrible Fate {Majora’s Mask Retell}
History tells of a mask that had the power to do whatever the heart wanted. A mask that was carved so many years ago and sent to the darkest hole to forever be kept from humans and their easily manipulated minds. But a man… a man of masks had found it, he knew everything there is to know about the history, and he very much knew what it was capable of. Yet he still kept that mask… but a fool of that human like all he lost the mask to a monster so manipulated that he found the mask and quickly figured out what it was capable of…

Link: an ex rogue trouble maker who saved the land of Hyrule from the terrible Ganondorf and brought Zelda, the true heir of the throne back to where she belongs. The Hero of Time as Ganondorf had said but he doesn’t exactly know what that means for him.

Sheik: once attached by mind to Zelda but was separated from her body and now explores the lands with Link to help him find answers.

Hyrule is in a deep peril... Although Link had gone back in time to warn the Princess of Hyrule about Ganondorf's true plans and what the future holds, it was not enough. A seven year war waged, the Gerudo-Hylian War, which ended with the Gerudo's success. Ganondorf became the new king of Hyrule, alongside his chosen queen, Zelda. The Hero Of Time ceased to exist after he died amongst the soldiers on the battle field. Those who object his rule are sentenced to a death penalty, and with the world becoming more and more unkind after ten long years, people are starting to lose hope. Even Her Majesty has begun to lose faith, that is until she got a closer look in a mysterious fellow (Oo, sooo mysterious~) named Shylo. She believes, with his help and optimism, they will be able to finally destroy The Demon King, Ganondorf. Unfortunately however, there is no one left to wield the master sword... or is there?... (This takes place after Ocarina Of Time) Warning: If you don't like reading long chapters, this book is not for you. Amnesia was a funny thing. It strips you of all memories, both good and bad. But what it didn't take away from Link was his caring heart. He wasn't a man who had time to deal with or worry about things like memories anyway. All he cared about was doing what was right. But just because Link had no memories, or any interest to reclaim them, didn't mean they wouldn't return to haunt him. Ever since Link woke up, strange things have been happening around the land. Horrific creatures, not quite monster and not quite human, begin appearing at night to terrorize the denizens of Hyrule. Link, not one to simply let such evils do as they please, decides to investigate into the matter as he travels across the land to find a way to destroy these creatures. It should've been just another job for him, just a problem the people needed solved, just another errand for the incarnation of Hylia's hero. But as he investigates, he is haunted by his past. Link's mind cannot remember what happened. But his heart did. He still feels what he lost, what he failed to protect, even after one hundred years. That's what draws something toward Link, the very same evil that created the creatures he faces. It follows and watches him from the shadows, taunting him, waiting for him to remember the past he's forgotten, waiting for the pain to resurface, waiting for the time he can no longer carry the weight of it all. As he journeys on his quest to defeat Ganon and save Princess Zelda, Link must learn to contend with another ancient evil that taints the land, all while facing the ghosts of his forgotten past. But how long can a disgraced hero last in the face of his failures? Cover art designed by @DaybreakVision on Twitter. Some themes may be upsetting to some readers. Viewer discretion advised. The Tears Of The Clock

33 parts Complete

It's best not to mess with time. Zelda has been searching for Link for years after sending him off for his personal journey he never returned from. She's the only one who believes he's still out there, everyone else has moved on but her. She's stuck in a repeating cycle, her mind only focusing on one thing. Link, on the other hand, has far less control over his own repeating cycle. ~*~ Cover art by my friend @bookworm6310 ^^ The characters, world, and The Legend of Zelda all belong to Nintendo.
