2017 English short story assignment to act as a sort of example of my writing- being limited to 800 words and a certain set of genres is not fun. SciFi/thriller/mystery I guess?
A young woman gets bored of surviving dense jungle after an unexplained plane crash and goes to find herself a memorable and honourable end- Sophie ends up getting more than she bargained for, and regains her sense of self-preservation much too late.

From here on, it's not about "what" she finds, but "how" she finds herself. Left behind is a short story that tells about a successful woman who's destiny is different than what she thought. In a mass-eviction of a doomed earth, she's the one left behind. She has to cope with things she never would have thought she would.Complete
