Reina Harper is a sarcastic teenager who prefers to be left alone. She enjoys living in the shadows until someone makes a point to notice her.

Daniel Freeman has a secret he can't reveal to anyone for a certain timeframe. This isn't really a problem until he meets Reina.

With the attraction growing between the two teens, secrets are getting harder to hide and trust becomes a precious gift that can easily become a pawn. Yet for some reason, Daniel thinks Reina is the only one that can save him from his own hell. Is he right or will he have to flee again?
