When you first meet Juvia she seems very nice and kind. Which she is, but not to herself. Ever since her dear mother's death she has constantly blamed herself. Now when you first meet Gajeel he may seem very mean and cold to you, but really he's broken. He's been breaking just like Juvia has. He just doesn't really show it. Slowly one is turning to death while the other struggles to try and survive. There are many popular or well known groups of people in Fairy Tail High, like most schools.
