Nobody knew what truly happened to Loki after the attack in New York. For all they knew, he was taken back to Asgard and locked away in a dungeon for his crimes. That's what they thought... What they didn't know, was that while he rot in is cell, he knows something they don't. He is lost and afraid. The secret he holds tortures him. Every night a little bit of him fades away, eaten by the monster, deep down inside him. Even if he did tell them, they would never believe him. There's no point in trying now, for the secrets he holds are sealed away.
