"Abner... is that you?" Adelaide creeps forward, cautiously. She extends her arm, allowing the pure white wolf to sniff her hand. In a few seconds, the wolf nudges its snout against her palm, showing no threat. She peers through her eyes, and kneels before the magestic creature she once knew. He quickly licks her cheek, causing a small giggle to erupt from her throat. The wolf brings its head up to her shoulder and rests its self upon her. Adelaide immediately combs her fingers through the silky fur and smiles to herself. "Where have you been all these years?"
Adelaide Thomas just turned 18, and that means she can find her mate, hear her wolf, and be able to be like everyone else in her pack. Abner Silt is 24 and has been looking for his mate ever since she has gone missing. Day and night, he searches, but to no luck, he comes back empty handed. Adelaide previously belonged to the pack where Abner takes charge, but one mysterious night, she vanished and was never to be heard or seen from again. Abner had found Adelaide as a little cub, and took the chance to care for her. As if the Moon Goddess had seen it all, she grant him the mate he has been looking after most of her life. Adelaide's mind had been sweeped, and she only had bits and pieces of her memory from before. When she crosses the border, into the unwanted land, she sees the one wolf she had missed her whole life.
Abner.
"Tamlin leave me alone, you don't want me!" I shrieked.
"Your my mate, mine and only mine" his eyes turned black, I was debating running farther into the forest but I already knew he would catch me.
Then the next thing I knew he had kissed me, his claws dug into my sides like blades holding me there, but I dismissed the thought, instead i kissed him back. And when his eyes turned their normal color and he calmed his guard, that's when I ran.
