A shape-shifting warlock named Calibur and his pet phoenix named Piper. When Calibur was younger he saved a phoenix egg  from being eaten by a creature in which later hatched to become his beloved friend Piper.  Meanwhile a dark power is rises up from an unknown area and possesses the shaman the rules over Calibur's small village and the shaman tells his mentor the muse that he has to fight Zaxious a large blue dragon that is known as the only living demi-god to pay for his sins in which he had none. When Calibur figures about this he runs away from the village to figure out the cause of this punishment and to do that he has to go face to face with Zaxious who is a common enemy of warlocks.
