Many are serving penance after being cast out during the battle in Heaven or for other transgressions. Callen and Fin are two of The Fallen, who are serving their time, counting down the days until they are able to go home. Each save brings them closer to their rightful power and closer to getting out. But a higher power has other plans for the disgraced Angels. Plans that keep them Earth-bound for longer than any of them anticipated. Plans that include Harper McCarthy, who has no idea what truly exists in the world. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All Harper McCarthy wants out of life is to raise her six year old son, Cameron the best she can. But when Callan and Fin blow into town, they throw her into the chaotic world of angels, demons, ghosts and creatures that only belong in nightmares. A world that in her mind, shouldn't exist. A world she should have always been a part of. With lies and betrayals coming to light, Harper comes to find that she is one of three keys in a prophecy that should have taken place almost a decade ago, one that was thrown off course by someone she trusted the most. While Harper tries to come to terms who...or what she is, Callen must decide whether to embrace his new role or hold onto his resentment for humanity, who he was sworn to protect. Not only does their world hang in the balance, but all realms may crash and burn. *Contains acts of violence, foul language, sexual situations, Humor, tense situations and a few twists and turns.* Read at your own risk. Forgive me, Father
Kaneonuskatew, or Kane, was known as one of the most prolific demons after his murder of an esteemed adviser's daughter. He came under the most scrutiny when it was revealed that he had fallen in love with that daughter, who just happened to be half angel. Their love was forbidden, so when she was murdered by his hand, he was sent by Lucifer to live in the church where the adviser lived. His main purpose was to be a guard and basically a slave to whatever the adviser, James, wanted. While being there, he met James' niece, who looked just like the girl he had fallen in love with. However, those were the least of his problems. Things start to change for Kane and he starts to learn about his past. He begins questioning his position with the demons, wondering how everything suddenly changed. He learns of his past and how his entire life up to this point was based on a lie created by the one he calls father: Lucifer himself. Now, the fight is with Kane, where he tries to battle what he's become and what's expected of him compared to he was and who he could have been.
