I don't hate Clace, in fact, I ship it, but when Jace CHEATS on Clary, her heart breaks. She leaves for the Australian institute after she finds Jace in Pandemonium kissing the brat Amelia. Eventually, she is summoned back to the first institute she ever lived in with her parabatia Monica to help stop Sebastian after Lilith summons him from the dead.
But she has changed.
Izzy asks her what happened and Clary's eyes go dead,
