Things were going great for Dawn Samuels, until her and a piece of fruit were forcefully dragged down to purgatory, where she met Elisha Crown for the first time. After being returned on what looks like a misunderstanding, she had to fight herself back into society after plenty of therapy appointments and medication. But as it seems the fates are against her as there is something dark down in purgatory that will do everything in its power to consume her. A year later from her "accident", everything seems to be going wrong again the moment Elisha shows up full of answers but unwilling to tell. This man, who controls the underworld, knows what is after her. Why its after her. And will do everything to make sure a balance stays among the different realms even if it kills Dawn. On the other hand, an equally dangerous stranger approaches Dawn with a much better outcome, one in which she lives. Will she follow her heart, or her head?
