This is Gabriella. She's seventeen and has to do community service for beating up a girl for talking about her dead mother. After spending three weeks with the school bad boy who every girl is crazy over, the same boy who made her junior high years miserable and tried to make her high school years the same, she finds herself falling for him harder than she ever imagined. The summer she thought would be beyond boring will turn out to be the summer she will never forget.

"Hey! She already said she was sorry. What more do you want?!" I screamed loudly in his face. His face turned from angry to shocked. No one had ever yelled at him that way at school before. He narrowed his eyes at me."She ruined a very expensive shirt so she needs to be punished for it," he responded, his green eyes lit with hate and anger. "So?! You probably have a million other shirts just like it. You spoiled rich boys have no respect for others. You think you're better than everyone else. Well, let me tell you, you are the worst of the worst." I said. I couldn't believe what I had just said. I realized I had given myself a death sentence as the words flew out my mouth. Duke was quiet for a few moments then he finally replied. "You better watch what you say girly," he said as he brushed past my shoulder. His two buddies following him from behind. I couldn't believe what I just did. It felt so invigorating. I felt as though I had an adrenalin rush. I knew that this feeling would not last for long though because I just gave the H3 a new target. They go around just bullying everybody and anybody who makes them mad. What is worse is when a person is targeted at the school the whole school bully's them as well. One day Rosette decided it was enough and confronted Duke, the leader of the H3. After that, her whole life began to change.Complete

Gabriella's life was always as usual, waking up earlier than usual to dress up for college and coming back late to bask in her loneliness not until two different people made entry in her life, making her already dramatic life more dramatic. "I dare you to go with him,"he said with an evil smirk on his lips, snapping his fingers he continued "and see how I have him expelled from this school in matter of seconds" "You are just a power driven bastard" she gritted her teeth angrily, her face red with anger "leave me the fuck alone, I don't want any one of you" "I wish I could leave you alone Ella but I ......" Her name was Gabriella Quintanilla. She was a senior in high school during this time. She had the looks, all the boys, the popularity, the clothes, and even the grades. And in no way was she ignorant of any of these things--quite the opposite. She knew that she was above average in most categories of life, and had no problem reminding people repeatedly of that fact. I'm not going to lie---I didn't like her. Not at all. To be completely honest, I threatened to kill her with my bare hands. And the scary thing is, I meant it. I wanted her to die. I imagined dark fantasies of the light fading from her eyes right before my own, her pleading for me to spare her life. And in my fantasies, I wouldn't listen and I didn't care. She had tortured me for five years and I was utterly and simply sick of it all. Sick of her. My animosity towards Gabriella was no secret among my peers. Not many people liked her, so it's not like I stood alone on the concept. However I was the only one who voiced a threat. THE threat. The threat that got me on a suspect list in some cop's notepad.
