A/N- This book is intended to be a short story. More of a test, as you will, to see how well it works out. If it ends up working, I may post more like it. Regardless, hope you guys enjoy!
"Sweetheart," His voice was low, an attempt at comforting you as he held your face. You turned away, flinching as his thumb ran circles on your cheek. "I'm not going to ever hurt you..." His voice was soft, but you knew better. God, you knew better. "I'm keeping you safe..." he murmured. "You make me feel ... like I'm getting better."
"You'll be safe if you just stay with me..."
Authors note: Chapters are written in long format, meaning this is going to read far more as a book. I update as much as I have time for, but in saying this, lots of editing and re-writing occurs and takes time. I take care in this story as it means a lot to me as a passion project and want it to be something I can be proud of.
