Shaw Thomas grew up a normal person until his father left him, his sister, and his mom behind. He ended up becoming a teen father with his girlfriend, only to come out not too long after their third son was born. Shortly after, his mom passed away and he was left in a dark stage of his life. He turned to violence, alcohol, and drugs to try to get passed the pain.
It didn't work.
However, Lawrence and Tara Eaton never gave up on Shaw. They were his mom's best friends and vowed to help him get back on track. And he did. He became a better father to his children, became a better friend to his ex, and stayed away from alcohol, drugs, and violence.
He felt like he owed Lawrence and Tara so much and he would never do anything to betray them.
Until their second oldest son, Holden, gets kicked out of boarding school and moves to Spruceworth. Shaw and Holden have literally known each other their whole lives because of how close their parents were.
So what happens when the two start falling in love, even though Shaw knows it can hurt the two people who helped him get his life back on track?
