Victoria Reilly has a dream. She wants to be a famous drummer, travelling the world with well-known bands, maybe even having her own band. Vic knows she has to work for it, as she goes to every possible band audition in Melbourne. But when a top producer in the music industry tells her only boys can be considered serious drummers she decides there’s only one thing she can do to secure her life-long dream. Victoria Reilly becomes Charlie Golden, and when Vic, as Charlie, is offered a position in British boy group One Direction’s live band, she is thrown into the fast world of music, love and brutal truths. Soon enough, Vic discovers she might have underestimated the job a bit, as living with the most famous boy band doesn’t prove to be as easy as it looks.
