Sam Benjamin Rafra was never a normal teenager, he never fit in with the other kids and was always different , so when an orphaned boy falls into his life and takes him to a secret under water club where gifted people go on dangerous missions and do non ordinary things thomas finally finds his purpose but he soon finds out that he came at no better time as a mysterious force threatens to plunge the beach club into extinction and not only is Ben special but he finds he is the last of his kind of a rare power of time controlling. As he is selected to lead a mission and have the fate of hundreds of people in his hands is he set up for being a time controller and a leader of four other people who give him their trust.
