Although they only hooked up a month ago, school is starting and he's not ready to face his fear of seeing Jason again. All he wants is love, and to be accepted. But with his hook-up during summer break and the "rumors" about him being gay spreading around... It's hard for him to think he even stands a chance in this world. When River is approached by a man who expresses his depressive tendencies, he decides to take the broken stranger for coffee, out of fear of what might happen if he lets him go. River tells him to offload, release all the sadness and frustration he has into someone who knows nothing about him. But when he leaves, River can't stop thinking about him.
