In a world dominated by the descendants of humans and gods, Starr and Sol find themselves in a struggle involving love, life, and sacrifice. Starr is the descendant of the god of Star, and Sol is the descendant of the god of Soul. For years, the two races haven't been allowed to breed, due to the risk of creating a hybrid species known as a Novelty. When they find each other, the law no longer applies, to them all that matters is that their secret stays safe.
In a story of forbidden love, bastard children, and an intriguing plot, Starr and Sol will have to make their peers see that no love should be looked down upon, and that every race is equal to each other.
