River Brookes has had the same group of friends since she was forced into the Watson Academy Boarding School, a school for snobby rich kids whose parents are never in the picture. And since their stuck there, having nothing to do but learn (ewh?) and hang out, most of her junior class has picked up the same habit--partying.
When River attends one of her close friends Faith's always-epic-annual-birthday-party, she thought it was gonna be just the same old thing; dance, drink, have fun. She never expected her best friend's twin brother to confess his long time love for her. River agrees to go out with him (even if he is extremely cocky) but there's one problem: River's starting to crush on his brother.
Ryker and River were always close, even before they started hanging out with the rest of their friends. They told each other everything, were always hanging out, and as close as two friends of different sex could be, without ever hooking up. But lately River's felt a little funny around Ryker; noticing how strong and muscular he is, how sexily cocky he is, and how much of a gentleman he always was to girls, especially her. But she didn't expect to be forced into a game of 7 Minutes in Heaven with him.
