Liane Choi hates being weak. Maybe many of us do but Liane is a special case. She's a Korean American who is obsessed with her self-defense and wrestling classes. She has a dangerous reputation but aside from that, she isn't quite that scary.

When she meets Ethan Haynes, who is in several classes with her, she first thinks of him as an innocent boy, but once she knows him, he's just like her. Proud and determined. Ethan is a new student, he isn't popular and doesn't have great looks. Being the late bloomer he is, puberty hits him, hard. He becomes the ideal boy crush that all girls have, and Ethan becomes the center of attention.

Liane and Ethan both fight, both courageous, both determined, both falling in love.
