Adi glared at the uncooperative music box on her desk. Leaning back, she crossed her arms in her yellow hoodie. Seventeen years old and here she was, solving yet another mystery. This was getting tiring.
When Adi's friend disappears without a warning, one hostile clue is the only indication of where he could be. She recruits backup to embark on an adventure that she was not prepared for- one that decides the fate of humanity. The troop is pulled into conspiratorial chaos and Adi can only hope that she can play the game long enough to keep her friends alive. Forced to seek help from an organization she planned on forgetting, Adi must ask herself if she is willing to sacrifice her life.
Adi crosses paths with an infuriatingly handsome man who makes her doubt everything she thought she knew about the "bad guys". The rope of commitment she's been hanging on to is starting to fray and it's slowly driving her to the edge of sanity. Adi lacks the confidence to answer her questions and carry everyone else's burdens, so how could she possibly save an entire world?

The only small, minute, really unimportant detail - it's pretty hard to get into a government classified site when you're 15 years old and have a rag-tag team of double-crossing back-stabbers behind you. Not to mention the threat of a world war and ghost hanging above your head. Armed with sarcasm, wit, and a hell of a lot of aggressive intentions, it won't be too long till a sticky situation is all that's ahead of you. Sometimes, running head-first into a situation isn't the best idea. Instead, you gotta play a game. A deadly game where either you have all the pieces on the board, or you have nothing.
