Jasper Tate and his brother Fabian, moved across the border to escape a bad life. Jaspers past haunts him, but he always finds a way to come back from the edge. His brother is constantly on his case, wondering when he will snap again and for good reasons. Jasper is not like your typical 17 year old. He is a genius, not by luck either. He worked hard for his brain, and is proud of it. He doesn't get on with many people, and his only real friend is his brother. But when his teacher, Mr. Elliot starts digging into it, things take a turn for the worst. Not only is Mr. Elliot his teacher for three classes out of his four, he's also the school guidance counsellor and he is, unfortunately, a very attractive man; and jasper being gay, it's a little difficult. Jasper is against teacher student relationships, but how can he resist? Meanwhile, a certain blonde boy attracts his attention, and he is forced to chose between the two, or none at all.
