Y/n fell into the underground when she was 13. When she 1st fell Chara tried to convince her to be her "friend¨ but Y/n, being smart, disagrees. Chara becomes angrier as Y/n keeps sparing everyone. Chara knows Y/n isn strong enough to leave the unground by herself yet,so she has 5 years to get into Y/n's mind, to break Y/n. Sans knows what Charaś been up to. He has to stop her from getting to her. To Y/n. To HIS Y/n. To his Snowflake.

Many years have passed since the war between the humans and monsters. The humans won, and shut the monsters in a place called the underground. Keeping them there with a magical barrier, it took seven usable souls to shatter the barrier, but being monsters, their souls didn't work. Instead, they had to use human souls to break the barrier, and even then, humans were not likely to fall in. Because the human waste system ends up in the underground, the monsters are informed of what's going on up on the surface, and have developed human-like lifestyles, which included scholarship, friendships and the like, but it seemed, that the monsters were eager to get back on the surface again. Six humans were unlucky enough to fall into the underground, and the leader of the monsters, Asgore Dreemurr killed these humans to use their souls for removing the barrier.
