When seventeen year-old Runner was sentenced to death for stealing a loaf of bread in MegaCity One, his dreams were literally at an end. But then he opts to sign up for the Remnants of Men, a government sanctioned search for a rumoured fresh water lake beyond a radiated wasteland.
At first, it seemed like a second chance to a new life, the transformation from zero to hero. But after an encounter with a rabid gang of men suffering an acute insanity, he soon comes to understand that he is one of many discarded into the wasteland to study the cannibalistic effects of a new drug called the Sixth Sense.

Olivia Patterson has had one too many doses of the Sixth Sense and owes a massive debt to a shadowy rebel and loan shark called Death-Throe. Being the daughter of the City's dictator, she knows too well that the gallows awaits any who associates with the rebel. In an attempt to free herself, she acquires an asset in the form of Runner and finds herself always at the edge, for if he survives it means freedom for both, but if he dies...

To Be A Leader by GravityWillFall01

Book 6 in the To Be A Runner series A missing general, hired assassins, a crazed Prime Minister, a voice in my head, and two sides on the verge of war. Yep, that sounds about right. It's been nine months since we took Abel back, nine months since us and the Minister arranged a 'peace treaty', as she likes to call it. We know the truth, but we've been marked as criminals, and that means very few people actually believe us. But even though Sigrid cannot get into Abel's underground labs, she's proven that she has not been defeated. She's looking for something-someone, actually. A person with the disease called Moonchild Syndrome, because it seems that I'm not the only person who's had Moonchild come and stay after breaking free from the mind control. And that's one of the many things I have to worry about. The 'original' still comes to me in dreams, and I know the Glass Protocol is still out there, looking for me, and I know that every step I take could be the last. Every decision I make will effect the people I care about, so I have to step up. I'm many things, or really, I've been called many things-a runner, a hero, a monster, a traitor, a survivor, a killer, a rebel... But I've been Head of Runners since Janine's disappearance, and now it's time for me to stop just being the head, and start being a true leader. Disclaimer-I do not own Zombies, Run! Or its characters. I only own the characters I made up all on my own. This is my Five's journey through season 6 on and in between missions.

Ashley became an interrogator to support her family and protect her city from the anarchic Renegades. When Daniel enters her interrogation room, she can't decide whose mind is more corrupted: his or hers. ※ ※ ※ ※ ※ In the year 2130, water is both life and death. Ingesting water contaminated with Renegadea Protozoa can turn a person into a Renegade, or a destructive, anarchic criminal. It's 17-year-old Ashley Cummins's responsibility as a junior interrogator to filter out the petty thieves from the true Renegades. However, interrogating the cocky, defiant, and handsome Daniel Fadhill interferes with her duties. Swept up in Daniel's riptide, Ashley must decide for herself where her loyalties lie. After all, it only takes one contaminated sip to become a Renegade.
