Michael is long dead, and Team Free Will is tired. Dean finds an excuse to hit the beach, but that only leads to more suffering. While they deal with the aftermath of the fighting, Dean and Cas' feelings for each other are becoming more and more intense. With new dangers looming overhead, can they really keep up their facade?
Basically, this is how I imagine Supernatural will end. (The sad way.) It's not going to completely revolve around Destiel. In fact, the ending is going to mainly be about Sam. Just... ugh. Please enjoy!

Cas and Dean are seniors in high school and they've been best friends since they were five years old. They know everything about one another, or so Dean thought. When the number of cases starts to decrease he finds himself with time on his hands, and that means time to think, something he hates to do for too long. Dean could still hear it, even now that they had been back for a few weeks. He could see the horror on Cas' face, the panic. He could hear the pain in his voice, recalled how it had twisted and turned in the depths of his eyes and contorted his features. He could still feel his own body go numb with hurt and shame, only to come alive with pain and dread once Cas told him about it. He hadn't been able to say it. He'd finally been ready to say it.
