My very first book. It is called Ember. Ember is a female dragon and she was abandoned as a child. She meets a male dragon that is a little older than her. He teaches her ways of dragons and shows her different dragon clans. Ember soon finds out what kind of dragon she really is. She also faces many problems with her clan. Ember's fire doesn't stop growing in power and poses a threat for the very dragon that it lives inside, but external forces are also at work which will change her forever. Pressure continues to soar as the war continues to drive all the dragon species towards extinction, including her siblings. As three sides struggle to gain the dragoness' support; consequences of whatever choice she makes will ripple throughout her life and world.
