When Schuyler Tucker comes home one evening to find her Dad has taken a new wife, a year after her mother died, she's furious. Her new step-mother Stella is not the best of guardians and when Schuyler turns to her father, she finds he doesn't care. The only person Schuyler can turn to is her step-sister who is being pampered but still is quite nice. Things take a turn for the worse when Stella pushes everything a step too far and Schuyler finds refuge in some very interesting people...
