Thomas  is going through the pain of losing his best friend. The remaining members of the maze fight their way in the "new glade" or the place that they call the Rebirth. After going through the struggles of the maze and the scorch trials, they have to scavenge and scour the Rebirth just to survive. Cranks have seemed to disappear. Outsiders in general are no where to be found. Is this just another working of WICKED? Or is this real?
