This is a play I'm working on, as my school performs student-written one-act shows. It is based on my own personal experiances with DID, and I hope to submit and have my story be brought to life at the 2019 one-acts festival.
This play is no where near complete. These are merely drafts of characters, scenes, and plots as I build up my story into a stage production. I'm publishing this solely to gage how my tale affects others, and for feedback on how to improve. There will be many edits made to this as time goes on.

I couldn't breathe properly, what was he going to do to me? Was he going to kill me? No- he wouldn't, would he? "Speak!" He yells in my face causing me to flinch back, a sob crawling up my throat as more tears fall from my eyes. I nod my head frantically. "Y-yes!" A Lovely Life
Journey with me back in time as I rewrite the first Journal I kept from when I was in high school, and see that maybe even with how horrible life is most of the times, there are little things spread throughout that make life worth living. My high school experience was full of drama, tears, laughter, and most of all constant search of love, and approval of the people around me. I can't always get what I want in this world. Life is a beautiful mess. It's not perfect, and filled with a lot of disappointments, and heartbreak.
