In ancient stories you'll find a time of a lost world of wave runners, people who could walk on water. There village was over thrown by darkness and evil destroying every living wave runner, or so they thought. Rose and Chris were hidden away from the darkness and continued to live in the real world in secret, both hidden from there powers as they were forbidden from the ocean. As Rose turns twelve her rebellious attitude and curious nature ignores her uncles warnings of the ocean and goes onto the water discovering her powers but by doing so she awakens the evil force known as the darkness who once believed that all wave runners were gone.
