Tord wanted to stay with his old friends, he didn't want to cover up his emotions towards Tom with hatred. But he couldn't, as he had an Army to lead and a Dream to make a reality. Ok so I gave up on the description for this story but it's at least something- Tord comes back from the Army to see his "old friends" again.
