⚠️Potential spoilers for the Wings of Fire series! It is recommended to read Wings of Fire books 1-10 and Wings of Fire: Beyond the Horizon before reading this story. Beyond the Horizon can be found at the bottom of this story's description, or in my reading list, "Legends of the Moonmaiden's Chosen." Trigger warnings for the following types of content: Cults, Death, Violence, Blood/Gore, Murder, Religious Belief, Hatred, Romance, and more. NOTE: This story is discontinued, meaning it will not receive any more chapters. Due to the amount of new important characters and elements being introduced to this story's prequel, connecting the dots with that story and this one will either require a ton of work or make little to no sense. WoF Fanfiction - discontinued and really bad Hybrid was, well, a hybrid. She used to have a good life, kept hidden from the public. She didn't know what type of dragon she was and had no friends, but that didn't matter. She had her icewing dad, who took her out hunting and loved her enough to make up for everything else twofold. She thought that her difference wasn't necessarily bad. That all changed one day. Hybrid and her father were out, close to where they usually went hunting, and were celebrating her third birthday by going whaling. They were spotted. Another icewing took down her father, killing him for harboring a hybrid. Hybrid was dumped in the desert outside of the wall, where she was found by a sandwing. The sandwing drug her out to die in the dunes. She survived. Barely. After being stabbed by the sandwing's tail barb, she thought she was done for. The last thing that she remembered was her front talons feeling way too cold, especially in contrast to her sunburnt body. Then, black. When she woke up, she was even more different. A/N: I apologize, because, looking back, I kind of lost any inspiration for the first idea, can't mesh it with the idea I tried to throw in, and it would not make sense to ignore either of them....... So yeah this is discontinued, it's really a bad story. I may revamp it into a situation that makes more sense some time in the near future, though. Also, I do not claim ownership of WoF, the amazing book series belongs to Tui T. Sutherland. I only claim ownership of my OCs and the Storyline, this is a fanfiction.

As such he finds himself risking it all to save a world he's not even supposed to exist in. As well as having to make the choice.. If living life as dragon... Is worth leaving his human life behind. ---------------------------- Hello fellow WoF readers this is only my second story and my first based on WoF so expect errors. I accept any ideas and Constructive criticism (don't be too harsh please) so come along for the ride. NOTE: Things may seem off within 4h story such as: A confusing timeline, unexplained plot holes, out of character reactions, etc. All I can say is that they're in there on purpose for the most part and will be explained as you read through the story. She arrives at sundown with a seemingly fake reason for being late. It throws Sunny, her adopted aunt, into worry as it seems her niece has changed. But why? And why does she keep having visions of nothing but pitch blackness? Did something happen to her niece? And what will happen when a bully Skywing keeps making her doubt that being a hybrid is somehow wrong? Will Spirit be able to recover her regular self or will she give up and become a doormat? And how will a secret admirer come into play? Especially when Spirit begins to get more visions of strange giant creatures deep within the ocean.
