Slane Pepolin was about average.
Good grades, likes candy and can't see demons; her twenty four year old friend though can. Dexter is a medium, someone who can see demons, ghosts and every other nasty horror monster you've been told as a little child.
He also hunts and kills them.
Upon finding out Slane is dragged into the Paranormal world, where she quickly learns she's a shinny new target for every rotting creature there. The only help she has is Dexter and a strange ghoul called Kalvi. But that's not the worst.
A rumour has plagued the Supernatural streets.
Could Slane be the Gifter? Prophecy has it that there would one day be a blind being who would either lead the monsters to their freedom where they would be able to prowl the streets freely, or will she be their torment? Killing and cutting down their numbers for as long as she lives? But Slane's not blind.
Or at least not in the humane world.
But when it comes to the Supernatural she's as blind as a bat.
Only everyone forgets. Bats use other tricks to see perfectly fine.

With a slight shake if his head Dexter chuckled all amusement drained from his tone, "Just go Slane, I'll be there soon" nodding numbly I walked away.

This world is a lot more freaky than we think. There are things watching from every direction possible and countless creatures lurking in the shadows. Some are more harmful than others but they're all unnatural. Some are more well known than others. A good amount of the creatures sound like the main boss of a video game and some have. The whole idea of the supernatural sounds like fairy tales or stuff you'd read about online. But it's all real. And it's up to hunters to stop it. A trio of them take up the task to save the world from them. Together they'll kill any bastard in their way or die trying. A/n: Due to the chapter limit, this book will be season 1-7, since that feels like a nice stop both story wise and season wise. There will be a second book for season 8-15. Not to mention given that this show can get pretty dark, there will be some scenes and language throughout the book that can be triggering so, fair warning, read with caution. Also I will be uploading by season and I have other stories I'm working on so sorry for the long breaks in between uploads. I'll try to not be too long but bear with me, the episodes are very long and I'm going to try to add original chapters/moments throughout the story. Also fair warning I make something about y/n clear about her appearance, mainly just her hair length and height along with a few body features. Reason was because I need to make those things clear with what I envision, ex: I wanted y/n to be the shortest in the main cast but not the shortest in the cast so I made her height roughly 5"7/5"6-ish. Anyway, on with the book.

It is pretty violent (I mean, obviously, the demon wants to kill everything, so...), and there are instances of mild language and non-graphic "encounters," as it were. This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his.
