Evolution is a faultless surgical process. There is no room for mistakes, sentiments, and weaknesses. The strongest rises above insurmountable obstacles, step upon the weak, and is rewarded with sovereignty over even time itself. That is the Law of the Universe. And it's a law that Randall, Abraham, Ysadora, and their fellow Shiakar Paradigm Society members, bring upon a weakened and chaotic humanity.

Their plan seem to go well until a mysterious string of numbers appears in the dreams of eccentic eidomorph Gabzryel. He and his friends, siblings Madzistrale and Tom, will then journey to a city of glass unknown to them, and attempt to prevent the SPS's ultimate evolutionary step: Doomsday. Homeless care center? Wildlife rescue and sanctuary? These ordinary heroes does it all; but soon they understand one thing about humanity: compassion and kindness is a dying sentiment in a world in dire need of order.

Which side will prevail? A faultless evolution that will bring humanity dominion over the stars? Or kindness bringing humanity closer to the Heavens?

Formerly known as "The Shadow Paradigm - Doomsday", this is the completely revised and updated version of the first book in the The Shadow Paradigm trilogy.
I look forward to your thoughts. I know the story is not quite perfect yet, and it's still a WIP, but I hope you like parts of it. And don't be shy if you have criticism. ;) I am looking for an honest opinion; I don't mind if its not good news, I'd rather know right away so I can adapt. ;)

As String's ambitions grow beyond just controlling the city's underbelly Adlet and Jenna are forced to take action with an ally he did not desire. While prejudice against E.H.s reaches it's peak because of a horrific tragedy, the Soldiers of the New World waste no time to expand their reach and rally for their cause of taking over the city. Adlet goes to the edge of sacrificing everything and back again. On the way, betrayal awaits at every corner. It's a little story "about a young, dumb sankta who's been dealt a bad hand at life, looking for his place in all this mess. The pointless search for a better future leads him far, far away from home, to a country forever ravaged by war and misery - Kazdel, the promised land where devils roam free and peace feels out of place." ONCE my mom told me that we, as humans, only fear what we do not know and that that is the sole reason for violence. We do not know what is to come of something, so in retaliation we immediately fight it off before we can ever find out; before we can ever see if there is any beauty in it. My mom is gone now. Along with any sanity we as a people have left. The year is 2193, and the world is at war. We, humans, are at war with each other only because of what we are and what we can do. We fear what we do not know, thus all we know is ignorance. The government, our democracy, our people and our world have fallen. Nothing good ever comes from being afraid of the abnormalities of others, especially when those abnormalities are amazing. The truth is, none of us are normal. Everyone's definition of normality is different, making it humanly impossible for anyone to ever accomplish the craved label of "normal". Then again, everything we have grown capable of was once described as humanly impossible. By those standards none of us are human. Not even me. Its been two thousand years since humanity lost their home planet and a thousand since they first made landfall on the world they now call home. The trip was long and fraught with danger but they managed to survive in no small part to the new gods they found along the way. The Celestial Court granted life to various forms of variant human species, sculpted to perfection as the next evolution for mankind. After a thousand years however humanity finds itself on the edge of collapse, as technology from the old world breaks down more and more the people of the new world are regressing into a more feudal state of living. As technology declines and degrades, magic and the supernatural has become the norm. Conflicts are on the rise between the different factions of the Celestial Empire all while the gods themselves watch from above silently. In one small corner of the Empire rests the Black Coast, home to the mysterious and ostracized race known as the Twins. It is in this quiet place that a set of triplets will determine the fate of not just the Empire, but the world as a whole for decades to come. --- This is a book I've been working on for a few years when I have the time. Due to my dyslexia there are grammar/editing errors from time to time. I am hard at work trying to polish the book as I do my big round of editing prior to publishing online. My experience in posting online is not great, so please be mindful that there may be tweaks to format and the like. When she decides to save Eve and meet up with the human siblings, Twirl and Milo, at the castle, they don't, and she knows something is totally wrong. Losing all her friends, she meets Ember, a Morpheen with a hero's brain. Perfect for staying under-cover and not becoming the center of attention. When they finally arrive...When the world starts to fall apart..then she knows it's time to step up and use her forbidden powers to use... Will it kill the whole world like it did her village, save the world from total destruction?  Milo doesn't know what to expect when everything changes when his town is burned down... He is teleported to the future when Hippogriffs, Phoenix, Phipogrix, and Morpheens rule the world. When his friend Eve is taken away to Fire Den Castle, and Kyra disappears, Milo knows he'll save them, and take care of his sister. But when his sister dies from his own powers, he knows it's time to step up and try his best to use his powers for good. So, when Kyra and Ember both need his powers, he knows he can protect them.
