Without changing a person's personality, undergoing the Alteration perfects their appearance, IQ, and even their immunity to diseases. No human passes the age of sixteen without being Altered. In the blink of an eye, things change. An ominous message is sent out to all of those below the age of sixteen, providing precise instructions that suggest they flee. Simultaneously, a deadly virus starts to spread all about the world, attacking only the Altered -- every human over the age of sixteen. The virus eats at the modified human brain, and soon the Unaltered begin to realise that the Altered are losing their minds. Home is no longer safe. Friends and family turn on one another, losing control of their own minds and bodies. The Unaltered aren't safe. Even if the virus isn't attacking them, the ones with the virus are. Prices of everyday necessities, from food to gas, from toilet paper to healthcare, have more than doubled. The global population now peaking near 8.5 billion. It was now considered a virtue to be hospitalized, so long as you could pay the lifelong medication payments and stay sick. Just as it seemed society was ready to kick the bucket, something viral and deadly beat it to the punch. As the people he knew turned into sick, plagued creatures of death and his world crumbles down around him, Jacob Mason must leave his life as a quiet, middle school student behind and forge ahead a new life to protect the people he loves. But this is all just the beginning of a brand new, blood splattered life for him.

A group of young high school student find themselves one late night breaking into the local arcade store. As their little game progresses into something drastically bigger they are soon finding themselves in another world of sorts. Will they ever find their way home and if they do what do they come home to. Will it be death or will it be the happy ever after everyone was hoping for.

The world is ending. The Earth is painted with the blood of humans. Only zombies and monsters roam the lands now. But in the last standing building, 6 teenagers unexpectedly meet each other. Each helping another to survive the dangers of the what the world has become. They bond, they trust but Dream stands out from the others because she is strange and mutant-like. No one could fully trust her, not that it'd matter anyway because Dream trusts no one except herself. So, when they receive a message which sends them to the very top of the hotel. Floor 31. They are forced to fight and kill zombies and monsters just for a chance of safety. But does this 'safety' even exist?

A 15 year old teenager walks into a dark alley in order to figure out how to improve his life and living conditions with his parents. What happens is a long and complicated journey meeting some new faces and new opponents. Will he make it out alive... ish? Maybe? I think the kid is a zombie already so that might make things more complicated on his part.
