Fatima Akoko is a second-year college student recovering from a tragedy that happened not long before she started college. Two years later, she had become more reserved, and unwilling to open up herself to anyone, for fear that she would lose them too.

Vicky Scott is Fatima's best friend, who's known Fatima all her life. But she had always been the beautiful one, the one everyone loved and talked to, while Fatima was left in the shadows. However, that blessing has becomes a curse for Vicky when it attracts unwanted attention... and now she can't trust anyone.

Rebecca West has always been a cheerful, optimistic girl who saw the bright side in everything. But behind her smile she hides a dark past, one that she has tried to forget. After an incident at the school that unsettles everyone, it comes back to haunt her, and she has to try harder to keep up her cheerful facade... Before her friends find out who she really is.

Soon, the three girls discover magic powers within themselves they never thought they had. As they meet more people, both good and bad, that share same abilities that they have, they find out that they are part of something bigger than any of them could imagine.

I also wrote this book to make people more aware of the disorders and disabilities that a lot of people face. The disorders and disabilities that the girls in this book have I also suffer from myself and I feel that the public should be more aware of these conditions.
