"Screw it!" bulong niya sa akin sa loob ng nakahintong elevator. Takot na takot akong nakakapit kay Lance habang nakastuck kaming dalawa sa elevator. Nagulat ako sa sinabi niya at napatingala ako sa mukha niya. Sa mahinang liwanag ng cellphone, kakaiba ang nakita ko sa mata ni Lance.
Kinabahan ako at nanlamig... Tila ba may nakabara sa lalamunan ko na di ko malulon. 
Ang lakas ng kaba ko.
Tama nga ba ang hinala ko?
"L.. La..." di ko pa man natatapos ang pagtawag ko sa kanya ng bigla niya hinila ang bewang ko padikit sa katawan niya. Habang mahigpit ang pagkakakapit niya sa likod ko, hinulog naman ng isang kamay ni lance ang cellphone na hawak niya sa sahig at hinawakan ang batok ko. 
Bigla niya ako hinalikan.
Nagulat ako, pero ngayon lang ako nahalikan ng ganito katindi.
