(Description and story concept stolen with permission from close friend and wattpadder @/blue-hues who abandoned her account to focus on mental health/school. Again, stolen with PERMISSION) - Tyler has never seen colour. Only whites, greys and blacks shade his world, matching his mind and soul. When Ethan, the new boy, shows up, his world begins to change. A shade of grey so common in his world begins to change and work its way into his life, starting with the posters in the class room and the trays in the cafeteria. One day, Ethan comes to school with his hair the same as the mystery shade that's been filling his world, and Tyler knows he's smitten. He's not sure he can keep his stoic and reserved facade up, but the thought of breaking down his walls is almost as terrifying as the thought of living the rest of his life the same, miserable person he's always been. ~ "A birds not free without a sky, y'know," he says, curling up against me. I can feel the soft rising and falling of his chest as he breaths, and I pull him closer, scared that he'll leave. I sigh, tracing my fingertips up his arm and through his electric hair. "But what if the cage is the only thing keeping me safe." Ethan pulls back, and for a moment I panic, until he turns around and faces me. He reaches for my face and cradles it in both hands, rubbing his thumbs across my temples. "That's nonsense," he says, smiling, "you have me."

"Mae, just calm down." "How can I calm down? I screwed this all up!" "It's not your fault-" "JUST LEAVE ME ALONE ACE!" ___ Mae Parker has had some tough times after her major breakup with her boyfriend, lossing her younger brother, and even failing classes in school. She seems to be loosing herself in her problems, she can't stop blameing herself for everything that's happened. But when she comes across a certain youtube channel, she cant stop watching. Mae has found her happy place away from all the darkness, and people have noticed her attitude has changed to life. When Mae finds her favorite youtuber in a Starbucks one morning, it all just turns upside down from there. ___ "Oh God I'm so sorry!" "No, no. I'm okay." I looked up to see the person I tripped over. My eyes widened. "Are you sure? You seem a bit winded..." "I-I'm fine, really." "Are you sure? I mean I can go get some-" "No really...I'm fine." I was fine, I really was. The one that saved me from death was standing right in front of me, of course I was fine. I mean...he basically saved my life. "Okay, I'm Ethan." "Mae." I held out my hand and he shook it. "That's a pretty name...Mae, I like it." he said, I gave him a small smile and looked to my knees, blushing slightly. "Thanks." I whispered. Ethan returned a smile to me and stood up, he held out his hand and smiled. I took it and he helped me to my feet. "So, uh, um, see ya-" he started to ramble on and I placed a finger to his lips. "Shh." I whispered, "I'm free Friday afternoon, we could meet at Starbucks and hang out?" I asked quietly, Ethan nodded and I removed my finger from his lips. "Cool, yeah, Friday...yeah, cool, seya then!" Ethan raced off in the other direction and I smiled to myself. "Oh god...I just met my hero..." [If anybody has the guts to show this to Ethan...I will flipping follow you and you will be like my bestfriend...]
