This story is mine from an ELA project. It's a historical short story but don't let that put you off, it's full of adventure and a little bit of humor in the early 1500's. The chapters are short, every page on Google Docs is one chapter, sorry that they're short
Ever wanted to be a Princess? Well, Alice didn't and was getting sick of it fast and her new friend Parker didn't like being yelled at all the time. One small crew later Alice is keeping her princess life a secret from all but Parker and trying to outrun 2 Armadas.
"Parker the Pirate." I said smiling in his direction as we walked along the long path with green trees bordering the right side of it, "First-Mate Parker, you know that's not a very good pirate name and people will surely find you and have you hung for treason to the kingdom. What's your middle name?" I ask realizing I shouldn't use mine either, probably shouldn't have said it in the first place, but there's something about Parker's eyes and smile that I can trust.
"Leo," He says in a questioning tone while asking, "Why should I have to change my name, and you don't?" I can't blame him, but as a good Captain, I should make sure he has a respectable name, for a pirate that is.
"Leo the Pirate! That has a nice ring to it, and besides, it'll be harder for the kingdom to find us because I don't plan on using my name either. I'll go by a fake name, Aly Kellam." I say with a smirk across my face and confidence replacing any doubts or worries in my voice. "I'll spell it with one L like my name, and besides, Leo is still part of your full name," I say brushing off his complaint.

An old friend from years past (it's only been a month or two) makes a treacherous deal with forces he doesn't understand. From their graves, ghosts of past empires arise. When present grudges and future feuds stir the pot, will our valiant heroes make it out alive? Oh, and also... there are hot women. Lots of them. Trust me. - hi all! this is essentially a sequel to High Tide, another book I have in my library- this is set to be a bit more epic though, I have a notebook's worth of planning! if you've not read it, this will make very little sense. still, welcome!

[A/N]: Hey guys! Before I post this story, I was going to give a little insight. A very good friend of mine and I decided to write this book, and what better way to recieve constructive critcism than to share with everyone here on wattpad? I'm proud to say that we're nearly finished with it, around three to five more chapters need to be written. However, I will gladly post two chapters a week. I took a few steps toward the window, but before I got too far I heard chatter just outside my door. "She’ll never be happy with him." The first voice, a female, was barely audible. "She could be. She’s just upset about Benjamin." A second voice, a man, replied to the woman. "She’ll never love Derick." A hint of anger played beneath the surface of the woman’s voice. I lay back down after that, so much for Emma accepting our marriage. Unhappiness coursed through my body and I became furious. I’d never love Emma either; with that I went to sleep. I dreamt of my mother singing in the castle, her voice was loud and demanding. Her words flowed so freely from her mouth and danced playfully down the halls. She was in the throne room singing to my father just as she always did. Her song was about the way she learned to love my father. Most marriages in Scotland are arranged, and due to our beliefs they have to work out. "Peyton Wright is the only one left... and it says here her GPA is 4.4." She said and I rolled my eyes once again. "She's tutor a lot of kids and their GPA's went up a lot. Maybe she can help you." She said and I rolled my eyes. "Yeah yeah whatever." "Anna keep failing and your gonna have to retake Junior year... and your not gonna be able to play soccer." "Fine... I'll be with the stupid tutor." I said grumbling. "Be nice to the girl... she's done nothing wrong to you." She said and I nodded. "Bye Anna." She said as I left. Great just great...
