The sound of silence .
Silence. You can never hear it properly. Even when everyone and everything is actually quiet, you can still hear some weird ringing sound. Some people say it's Tinnitus and it's perfectly normal, some say it's the blood flowing through your body, others say it's the spirits having conversations and if you listen carefully you can actually hear them talking. But is any of this true?
Tia, 17 year old girl has been longing her whole life to hear the silence, no talking no ringing just... Silence. However she has actually never heard it before. Tia, in Latin means happiness and joy, but Tia is far from being happy. Sure she has friends, family, perfect house but it feels as if something important is missing from her life. Just like a piece missing from an almost complete jigsaw puzzle. But one night will change her way of thinking, will change her, will change her life.

The world is loud. There are those who make no sound. Billions of people on the planet, some make no sound, some hear no sounds, and some don't see what's making the sound. Humans take their voice for granted, they don't realize what it's like not to be able to say what you're thinking. Humans don't realize what it's like not to be able to listen to the world. They don't realize what it's like not to be able to look at the stars and see the beauty in the sky. I can see, I can hear, but what I can't do is speak for myself. My own silence is deafening. *Pardon my word choice.* I've never been able to speak, as soon as I was able I was sent to learn ASL (American Sign Language). I was then sent to regular public school and I love it, the sounds of the students talking. Being able to be a regular person, well, as close to regular as I can be without talking. My name is Rosalyn, I've never breathed a word. Silence is easy when all you can give are ASL signs and not many people understand them. I'm just like everyone else. I have a celebrity crush.
