Dave Strider, now falling into a deep Depression, believes he has nothing to live for. Locking himself in his room and crying have become two of his few hobbies, and when he isn't alone, moping in his room, he's talking to Karkat Vantas. Karkat has been the only thing keeping him sane... and alive. But, there's something that Dave is completely oblivious to: Karkat has been in love with him for quite some time, and has yet to express how he truly feels. Dave Strider x reader x Karkat Vantas.. Warning: this gets rather violent in some context, blood and gore is fairly frequent. Strong language too, but I don't understand why you need that warning if you got through Homestuck. Dave, Karkat and other Homestuck characters belong to Andrew Hussie. Story belongs to me. Karkat Vantas. A very unpopular, short, and short-tempered troll. He tries desperately to make it through his first year in a human school, but with everyone still not fully accepting trolls added on with his so-called 'stupid' blood color, he can't find a single person who understands him, yet. Dave Strider. Maybe one of the most popular guys in the school. Nobody knows why he's always wearing those cool ironic shades of his, and most people want to find out. But Dave himself wants his eyes to stay hidden, and nobody else has ever seen them. He thinks that if anyone did, they would make fun of him and his good reputation would immediately disappear. The two, basically opposites, find that they actually might get along and relate to each other. But who knows what a simple sentence could do? (this is my second fanfic and the first homestuck one i've ever written so if the writing sucks don't judge! also none of the art is mine. ships included will most likely be johndave at the beginning, and throughout the fic theres gonna be erisol, rosemary, some jadenep, johndirk, and vrisrezi! if you don't like one or more of these ships deal with it.) Step Brothers
Jace Summers is someone who is always true to himself no matter what anyone else thinks of him, and he's proud of who he is. He has pastel pink hair, stunning deep brown eyes, and a sweet and silky voice that makes all of the girls swoon. Too bad he's gay though. He has been out since seventh grade and is thankful he has never gotten hate for it, not that it would have bothered him anyway. Alec Walker is someone who everyone knows and likes, though he doesn't consider himself to be one of the popular kids. He has brown hair, hazel eyes with the perfect mix of brown and green, and his side profile could make angels swoon. Neither of those two boys seem very different from each other, both are kind, well-liked, and very handsome. Even if they aren't friends, you wouldn't expect them to dislike each other. Well, sadly that is incorrect. Ever since they can remember, they have each hated each other with a burning passion. Jace thinks Alec is a jackass know-it-all, and Alec thinks Jace is annoying and throws his personality in everyone's faces. Those seem like very small or petty things that they could easily overcome by having a conversation, but both are too stubborn for that. It is a mutual hate that neither will give up. But when one day they get news that seems like the end of the world... it turns out to be the best thing that has happened to both of them. Some Davekat cuz I was bored. Basically, Dave likes Karkat. He thinks there's nothing he can do about it, but during Summer Break (wow, so original) they get invited to stay at Eridan's because he has no friends (lol me). Some stuff ends up happening and... yeah... I suck at descriptions... (The title could refer to several things...
