"You don't want this, and you certainly don't want me!" Blade yelled, backing away from me with trepidation and rage.
"I know what I want, and it's you," Nisha said as she approached him. And, despite the fact that one of his arms held a dagger and the other a gun aimed at her, she moved forward without fear of death.
"Stay back, I'm going to hurt you." My hands are only capable of wreaking havoc. "They were not made for loving or protecting anyone," he said, still moving back.
"Then let me protect you this time," she said determinedly as she ran forward towards him, and as the dagger in his arms pierced through her shoulders, stunned by the realization of what he had just done.
The weapons were thrown to the ground. Nisha hugged Blade while the dagger remained lodged in her shoulder.
"No, no, why have you gotten so close?" He said this while looking down with red eyes.
"You can tell you care about me because your eyes are red," she said, smiling.
"Why didn't you just leave me when I gave you the opportunity?" He said this while looking perplexed and sad.
"Because I finally found a reason to breathe," she explained as she drew Blade's tie closer to her and kissed him. Even though she was bleeding and in pain, this was the first time her agony felt so bitter-sweet.
