Destine is just an outcast at her school. Her mother died a little over a year ago, she doesn't even know how. All she is worried about is trying to survive high school. Then her life takes a turn that she would never have even thought to see coming. Destine has to put her life on the line to protect the world from the creatures that killed her mother and will kill her too. She learns that weakness is not an option and sometimes you have to risk your own life to save people you don't even know.
