(This takes place after the episode "Sick Mind" Season 1 episode 13 of Transformers Prime) Bumblebee isn't in his right mind after going into the mind of Megatron to get the cure for Optimus who was dying of the Cybonic Plague. After leaving Megatrons mind Bumblebee claims to be seeing Megatron in his head. Cadence notices that Bumblebee hasn't been himself. He's day dreaming most of the time, and stares out into space.

After the death of Cliffjumper, the autobots were dealt quite the blow, both emotionally and in their numbers. On top of that air superiority is still in the decepticons favor which is still a big problem for the Autobots. But the day after the Autobots try to rescue Cliffjumper; only to find him as an undead terrorcon zombie, Ratchet picks up an autobot signal, but is perplexed to see that it is airborne. Most believe it's a trap, but Optimus believes that it is still worth investigating. As they try to do so the decepticons also pick up the signal. But the signal originator aids the Autobots in driving off the decepticons in his green cargo plane mode resembling a modified Antonov An-225. After the decepticons are dealt with, the jet hovers in front of the Autobots and then transforms into a bot that is nearly equal in height to Optimus himself. Once transformed Optimus immediately recognized who this bot was... his second in command, Jetfire. (A/N: Yes I am using the Transformers Cybertron Jetfire for this fanfic. And he will have his cyberkey power but it will be explained differently in the story.)

Soundwave left Earth with the minicons and his brother and, apparently, is not going to return, he was replaced by Megatron, whom Bumblebee has even less confidence in than when he started working with the signalman. Despite this, Optimus seems to want to see the former enemy as his ally. Therefore, the yellow bot will have to accept the presence of his killer in his life. However, as it soon turns out, the Autobots will face a much more dangerous threat than escaped criminals.... Notes: The second season of my fanfiction "Dubious Ally". Therefore, in order to understand the context of what is happening, I recommend that you familiarize yourself with the first season.
