Katy Watcher is not your typical girl. She is Were and she could kick anyone's ass and laugh while she does it. Or so she thought. When a lone shifter named Kyle comes, she isn't exactly having a great day, but he easily moves through her defences and becomes her mate, just in time as an evil presence becomes known.
All Kyle ever really wanted was to get away from his old pack and his over possessive father and stay a lone wolf. When he seeks refuge with the Watcher family, in which his mother was close with, he expects to be able to live in peace and live at arms length from everyone. Wrong. Katy barges into his life and keeps him hoping she will come back for more. He's not the only one who's after her though. When an old rival, Tyler, comes around for a visit, Kyle is positive he didn't come for just a reunion.
As everyone will soon learn, Katy won't sit back and watch the fireworks she will be the one to start them and watch them burn to the very end. Even if the consequences become deadly.
