After a nuclear war leaves the surface of Russia uninhabitable, Valera Petrovich is left to live in the ruins of an unforgiving world. He is torn between saving himself or saving others in the radioactive wasteland, while being tossed into the middle of a violent conflict between two groups who want control over Russia.
