Whispers of a Storm

The sea has always been filled with wonderment and mystery, many people shipped out in search of new lands and riches. Out of all the famous adventurers one stood out the most. He was a pirate of the name Gold Eye Grant, that name was a legend to all. His real name was nearly forgotten by the world due to the fame revolving around the pirate name. His actual name was Roman Granite.

Even after his disappearance ,many years ago, he is still widely known as the only person to locate and join together the most valuable treasure of existence. The Pieces of Eight.

Before he and his crew vanished from existence it is said he left a final message on his last main land visit. On a stone in the center of Raven Wing Island these words are ingratiated.

"It is true that the pieces exist, but I will not confirm whether the rumors surrounding the pieces are true."

"For those who are interested in figuring out this for themselves you must know. I separated every last piece of the eight and scattered them far and wide in the sea they once originated."

"This sea I speak of is beyond Devil's Belt. Deep into the heart of the Sea of the Unknown."

"To anyone who ventures out to claim the treasure I wish you luck. And remember untrusted crew stains the sea."

That stone and the words marked on it are the last ever recorded words from Roman 'Gold Eye Grant'.
