"Maddy, you can't run from your problems. Kody was the one who used you, he's graduating next year, this summer is your chance to get a new boyfriend and rub it in his face all that he's missing before he leaves. Plus, you'll be leaving me to go to camp by myself." My best friend Lindsey points out while sitting on the foot of my bed.
"Which suit?" I question holding up a green and yellow one piece and a red striped bikini. "And it's problem, not problems. I've been facing him this whole year. Maybe running away is what I need right now. Screw it, I'll just bring both." I say tossing both swim suits into my already cramped suit case.

I'll be spending the entire summer at my dad's resort. After my tragic love story, I'm ready for a get away.

Will Maddy's vacation be all that she's hoping for? Or more?
